Job management software for small service businesses

You do not need to be a construction company to work by the job. A property clean, repaint, repair or installation all need a clear scope, a place to keep costs and a way to bill the client.

Where the work gets disconnected

  • Client details are copied into every new document.
  • The calendar does not explain what the job includes.
  • Small expenses are lost before the job is reviewed.
  • Adding a second worker makes office-to-field handoffs harder.

How the work moves through Ordvero

  1. Start with the next real job

Name the project and add its client and location. Keep instructions with it. You can begin with the information you have and add team assignments or a schedule later.

  2. Keep the scope and documents together

Create estimates and invoices using saved business details and document defaults. Review each document’s description and amounts for the particular job.

  3. Add costs as work happens

Review scanned receipts or enter purchases and assign them to the project. Record labour when needed so your cost review reflects more than the supplier total.

  4. Review the balance and the next visit

Use the schedule for planned work and recorded payments for outstanding balances. As more people join, assign work and permissions instead of sharing one account.

Who this fits

For solo operators, small service companies and growing office-and-field teams. Cleaning, maintenance and property services fit alongside contractors; the common requirement is work organized around identifiable jobs.

Useful questions

Do I need a crew to create a job?

No. You can create a project before assigning people or scheduling work. Saved crews are optional and useful when the same people regularly work together.

Can I try it without a credit card?

Eligible new workspaces can choose a plan and start its free trial without a credit card. Add a payment method before the trial ends to continue; without one, the trial ends without a charge. Current durations and limits are listed on the pricing page.
