Crew scheduling for people, projects and site visits
A useful schedule tells people where to go and connects them to the job details. Plan the visit without separating the calendar from the project record.
Where the work gets disconnected
- A calendar entry lacks the job’s instructions.
- Crew changes are hard to follow across separate lists.
- A multi-day job needs more than one visit.

Choose the project and people
Start with the job and select individuals or a saved crew. A crew is optional; scheduling one person is supported.
Set the planned work dates
Use the schedule to place work and review the planned visit. Keep the project address and instructions available rather than copying them into separate messages.
Review changes deliberately
Adjust dates and assignments when plans change. Use the business time-zone setting for consistent scheduling context across the workspace.
Compare plans with field records
Return to the project to review updates and actual time. A scheduled shift is a plan and is not automatically proof that the hours were worked.
Who this fits
For planned jobs, return visits and multi-day service projects. Automatic route optimization, weather-driven dispatch and guaranteed conflict-free staffing are not claimed.
Useful questions
Do I have to create a crew first?
No. Select individual people. Saved crews help when the same group regularly works together.
Are scheduled hours the same as actual labour?
No. Scheduling plans the work; time records describe work performed and need appropriate review.
